Revitalization director fired

According to the Stockton Record the Revitalization director Dave Harzoff was forced from his post. The City declined to comment on the matter saying that it was "personal matter".

Harzoff was in charge of the 39.8 million Revitalization department. There was not one certain reason for his out setter, but there was speculation as to why he left so abruptly, one of the main reasons according to The Record was because of telling the:

"the City Council that a substantial increase in the marina's projected annual deficit was the result of a flawed cost analysis last year - drawing criticism from former officials - the city backed off that statement, instead attributing the difference to financing changes and revenue projections made more conservative this year."

According to the Record article Harzoff was temperamental, and had a difficulties with his staff and others. His annually salary was 137,268...Read More About the Story Here.

This is just more waste of taxpayers monies on crazy idea's and all this revitalization for the downtown area, which has done nothing to bring the citizens of this city back to the downtown area, nor others coming from other places. Again the money that was paid for the Mariana could have been far better spent in other area's of the City's budget.

Have the city\county sell off all of the hotels\motels\buildings it has purchased in the "Spanos Property Scam." Have the city support individuals and families with affordable housing, drug\alcohol programs, job programs, etc. All city counsel public servants, along with all our other public servants, should be immediately fired along with Harzoff! The real estate scams of our public servants, to enrich their own pockets (and those of family and friends) need to outed in the light and sufficient punishments served them!
